Patient experience survey
Work is underway to refine a tool and devise methodology for regularly obtaining Victorian cancer patient experience data. Patient experience information is important for continuous service improvement and for promoting patient-centered care.
The Department of Health has engaged the Centre for Behavioural Research in Cancer at the Victorian Cancer Council to undertake this work. A Committee has been formed to provide advice and feedback to the project team. NEMICS and its health services are represented by Melissa Shand, Service Improvement Officer at NEMICS.
