Coping with cancer: What you need to know and where to get help
The Community Ambassador Program was developed by our NEMICS Consumer Reference Group to raise community awareness of the support and information available following a cancer diagnosis.
This program offers a 45 minute presentation detailing the range cancer support services and resources available, who to call when you need help and how you can find reliable information and support.
All our Community Ambassadors have had a cancer diagnosis themselves or have cared for someone who has. They are very willing to share their experience and knowledge and help raise community awareness of these issues.
