YOU CAN - Stories of the Cancer Experience
Here we have a collection of stories - stories of people, their families and loved ones who have experienced cancer. They are not the people's medical histories - they are not statistics, facts and figures. They reveal how a group of people, living in Victoria, have been affected by cancer. They are powerful stories as they expose relationships and give meaning to experience. They reveal the difficulties of being a patient while also living in the other worlds of family, work and community. They deal with emotions, frustrations, hope and joy.
