The Haematology Tumour Group aims to undertake service improvement initiatives based on the cancer service reforms’ priority outcome areas:
· Multidisciplinary Care
· Care Coordination
· Supportive care, and
· Reducing unwanted variations in practice (Quality Monitoring and Support)
Initiatives are guided by the Haematology Tumour Stream: Intermediate Grade Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, Patient Management Framework’s.
Current group membership includes expert clinicians from surgical, medical, oncology, nursing and allied health backgrounds. The Tumour Stream is currently seeking consumer representatives.
