The Genitourinary Tumour Group aims to undertake service improvement initiatives based on the cancer service reforms’ priority outcome areas:
Initiatives are guided by two Patient Management Frameworks:
Membership of the group includes representatives from various disciplines including: urologists (surgeons), medical oncologists, radiation oncologist and specialist urology nurses. Currently the Service Improvement Facilitator is working with the group in planning 2008 activities.
