The Breast Tumour Group aims to undertake service improvement initiatives based on the cancer service reforms’ priority outcome areas:

                    · Multidisciplinary Care
                    · Care Coordination 
                    · Supportive care, and 
                    · Reducing unwanted variations in practice (Quality Monitoring and Support)

Initiatives are guided by The Breast Tumour Stream: Breast Cancer Patient Management Framework.

Current group membership includes expert clinicians from surgical, medical, oncology, nursing and allied health backgrounds as well as consumer representatives.
